Brothers Produce
In 1951, Aron Erenwert was a German immigrant to America. He spoke no English and had a family to support. Making his way to the downtown Houston farmers market, he received a bunch of bananas and was taught to say, "Twenty-five cents a bunch." Soon, he was selling the bananas door-to-door. Eventually, his customers asked for tomatoes and other items. This was the beginning of Brothers Produce, which today is housed in 60,000 square feet of refrigerated, frozen and dry storage. Now one of the largest produce houses in the Southwest, Brothers keeps growing by taking care of its customers on a personal level - a level of care they are proud to bring to Hubbell & Hudson and The Woodlands community.
